Welcome to Plaza Presbyterian Church in Charlotte NC!

We are delighted you have stopped by for an online visit and hope you will "come and see" us when you can.

When Jesus responded to Nathanael's question at the beginning of the Gospel of John saying, "Come and see!" a new world began to open up for Nathanael and for us. Plaza is part of that world of love and hope through worship, fellowship, study, and outreach.

We care for homeless neighbors through Room In the Inn.

We provide medical transportation for older adults in our area (Plaza-Midwood and beyond).

We prepare Dinners For Winners for the residents of Plaza Place once a month.

The Plaza Presbyterian Weekday School (half day) is for children ages 1 - 4.

On Mondays and Tuesdays we have free (donations are accepted!) exercise opportunities. Yoga is on Mondays at 6:00 p.m. Sit and Be Fit (exercise for those of us who are not quite as mobile as we used to be) is on Tuesdays at 12:30 p.m. Pilates is the order of the day at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays.

We enjoy A Night at The Plaza on the first Friday of every month, enjoying time together, a meal, a movie, games, cookouts, whatever the time of the year and the weather will permit.

We gather every Sunday morning for Sunday School at 9:45 and Worship in the Sanctuary at 11:00. On the second Sunday of each month we enjoy a fellowship luncheon following Worship.

September through May we wrestle with what the Bible is calling us to do and be through Monday Bible Study at 1:00 p.m.

We host Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous groups.

Habitat for Humanity uses our Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall for celebrations surrounding the completion of houses.

Some local theatre groups use our facilities to learn their lines in preparation for their performances.

The best way to get to know us is to follow Jesus' invitation to "Come and see" what God is doing with us!

As Christians we are always under construction. The same is true for this website. We hope you will explore what we have gotten online so far and respond using the "comments" section to let us know what you are thinking, what you were looking for and couldn't find, and whatever you think will make this a more useable and helpful website for our community of faith.

Grace to you and Peace!
