Meet our Church Staff.

Tom Tate came to us in September 1988 from Grace Presbyterian Church in Springfield VA. Tom is active in the Interfaith community of Charlotte and serves on the Board of Education of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools representing District 4.

Charles Austin began serving as Director of Music/Organist at Christmas in 2002. From May 2004 through July 2008 he also served as our Church Secretary. Charles directs our choirs and plans the music ministry of our church.

Vincie Cathey has been our Custodian for more than twenty-five years! In all those years we have rarely seen him without a smile on his face. He keeps things in place and still takes time to know us individually.

Carl Thomasson oversees all the work regarding our buildings and grounds to make sure things run smoothly. He also serves on the Session in the areas of evangelism and member cultivation/care.

Lorraine Piephoff is our Accountant. She keeps the books straight, pays the bills, and answers all the questions about how much we've pledged or given, and for what.

Patti Schigoda is the Plaza Weekday School Director. She cares for the teachers, assistants, parents, and children who come to our school.
