Special Events

June 29, 2008 is Church at the Lake Sunday

Worship in the Sanctuary will begin at 9:30 a.m. (No Sunday School.) Worship at the Davidson College Lake Campus will begin at 11:15 a.m. Following worship at the lake we'll enjoy a covered dish lunch, a time of fellowship, and swimming for those who choose it. Church at the Lake gives us an opportunity to worship outdoors in the beauty of God's creation. Dress is casual. Bring food to share, a lawn chair or blanket to sit on, and a readiness to enjoy Lake Norman. To reach the Davidson College Lake Campus go north on I-77 to exit 33. At the top of the exit ramp turn left to cross over the Interstate. Turn left at Alcove Road and proceed south parallel to the Interstate. At the stop sign turn right on Langtree Road and watch for the entrance to the Lake Campus on the right (approximately .8 mile). You'll see us when you get to the lake!

E.N.E.R.R.G.Y© … exploring ways to take care of our bodies, minds, and spirits… is a new outreach ministry of our church. E.N.E.R.R.G.Y© is Exercise, Nutrition, Enough Rest and Relaxation = a Great You! On Sunday, July 13, we'll host a joing Sundsy School class (for all ages) to introduce this ministry. Come at 9:30 a.m. for breakfast and an interactive program! It's guaranteed to life your spirits.

Greetings to you from all of us at Plaza!

If you want to experience God's grace, come to Plaza.

If you want to feel God's love, come to Plaza.

If you want to know God's peace, come to Plaza.

Plaza is a church where eyes are opened to truth,
where ears long deaf hear their name spoken in love,
where those who had forgotten how to sing discover a joy which refuses to remain silent.

What does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
Micah 6:8
